Let’s play together with rhythm and music

The world is a wonderful place full of small miracles. One of them is a tiny human child. After being born into this world, they begin to discover the amazing world around them. Our task is to help them do so safely.

The first three years of a child’s life are considered crucial for development, and at no other point do they learn more or faster than during this short period. Japanese educator and musician Shinichi Suzuki wrote:
“The only trait of high value a child is born with is the ability to adapt to the environment more quickly and sensitively than others.”
Thus, a child’s development depends on the environment and the situations in which the parent places the child.

Structure and Schedule

RütmiPall was created to support the child’s well-rounded development through systematic activities together with a parent (based on developmental psychology). Music is the tool to develop motor skills, senses and perception, attention and thinking, memory, imagination, emotions (empathy), will, and self-control.
All this helps the child later be socially mature enough to join a group where there is no longer the watchful eye and helping hand of mom or dad.

As a bonus, the child gains good musical skills (sense of rhythm, melody, sound awareness—timbre, pitch, duration, intensity), ingrained through playful activities.

Baby groups:

  • 4–8 months
  • 8–12 months

Toddler groups:

  • 1–1.5 years
  • 1.5–2 years
  • 2–3 years
  • 3–4 years
  • 4–5 years

About the Class

Our class is like an interactive theatre performance, where active participation is expected from everyone. The parent’s role in the class is essential (children up to 3 years attend with a guardian), as the parent’s attitude is directly reflected in the child.

Let us be cheerful and creative, and our children will adopt this mindset.

Together with rhythm and music, we help raise attentive, intelligent, cooperative, respectful, and polite individuals.

Since autumn 2014, RütmiPall has also offered instrument learning.

Currently, children aged 4–6 can learn piano and violin, with lessons 1–2 times a week.
