Flute Lessons
Every child is born with talent.
The aim of flute lessons is to enjoy music, discover the world of music and oneself through it, and develop various skills like perseverance, sensitivity, attentiveness, cooperation, confidence, independence, etc., all of which help children succeed in whatever they do.
At the Tasapisitasakaal studio, we learn flute using the Suzuki Method, which is based on playful learning and aligns with the child’s natural individual development.
Flute classes are open to all children from the age of 5.
More about Flute Learning
“What doesn’t exist in the environment won’t develop in the child.” — S. Suzuki
With the Suzuki method, we learn flute like a mother tongue – surrounded by a musical environment, celebrating every small success and effort, involving everyone, and growing at one’s own pace.
Suzuki philosophy is rooted in the belief: “Every child can.” Every child has inborn talent and ability, which can develop in a supportive environment.
Progress relies on three pillars:
- The child’s interest
- A professional teacher
- A supportive parent
The parent’s role is equal to the teacher’s—attending lessons, helping with home practice and listening.
Learning starts by ear. Music notation is introduced playfully once the child can read a little and has acquired some playing skills.
Lessons consist of individual and group sessions.
