Honey Massage
Honey massage improves blood circulation and relieves muscle tension. Massaging with honey helps eliminate toxins from the body and stimulates the subcutaneous tissue and blood flow.
It is effective against cellulite and helps cleanse skin pores.
It’s recommended to come for the massage on an empty stomach. The skin should be shaved, clean, and free of lotions — otherwise, the honey won’t absorb properly. The first sessions may be slightly painful — this is a good sign, as pain helps the therapist locate problem areas. Usually, only the first or second session is uncomfortable; subsequent sessions are much more pleasant.
Honey massage is typically performed on the back, but full-body honey massage is also possible. It can be part of anti-cellulite treatment, smoothing out subcutaneous lumps and leaving the skin silky.
Honey massage has both physical and energetic effects.
Physically, it improves circulation in the skin and underlying muscles. Honey delivers bioactive substances to the body, absorbs toxins, and supports their removal. It stimulates the lymphatic system and promotes natural skin cleansing. Skin becomes more elastic, smooth, and firm. Honey massage activates tissue and organ functions, improving overall health.
Energetically, honey massage acts on the etheric body. Cleansing this layer promotes physical healing. Honey acts as a “sticky agent” that removes negative energy, clearing energy channels and restoring natural energy flow.
Honey massage is effective for colds, nerve and joint pain, and stress. It tones and tightens aging skin. If there are no contraindications, honey massage can also be done on the face — it tones, tightens, cleanses, and lifts facial skin.
After treatment, it’s recommended to drink plenty of fluids. Massage is best done once a week. For cellulite, better results are achieved with a course of 8–10 sessions.
Not suitable for people allergic to honey.
